I just had my follow-up visit/inspection of my water softener system and drinking water filtration system that I had installed in 2024 by:
Aquarius Home Services.
Caillou, was the technician sent out for this service. He was very professional and personable.
He explained everything in detail, and during the inspection showed me the level of chlorine in my water system. Mine happened to be a little bit on the high side, so he recommended that I add a filter to my water softener system that would help eliminate the excessive chlorine in my water.
For various reasons, many municipalities have increased the amount of chlorine added to their water systems. This is a government regulated procedure. But, for the longevity of your water heater, and other items in your home, it is recommended to remove the chlorine so that your equipment lasts longer, Thereby saving you on equipment repairs/replacement costs.
